Owner + Principal Coordinator
Hi! My name is Ophellia and I am, in Jamaican terms, the “head cook and bottle washer” here at Bridal Affair Destinations! Welcome to your destination wedding in Jamaica and congratulations on your first Jamaicanism . It simply means that I work with you and for you to translate the vision of your wedding celebrations into reality and to ensure that you and your guests are completely taken care of for every step of the process.
I am Jamaican but reside and work from Toronto with my two awesome babies and spend my days finding unique and fun ways to make your day memorable.
Three random things about me: 1. I have a water phobia so even though I know how to swim, I do not. The beach for me means hanging out on the sand and eating fried fish and festival and having a cold Red Stripe! 2. Awesome for me translates a massage, a great meal, followed by a glass of wine and a good book. 3. On my busiest year, I average 26 trips to Jamaica with my clients (can you say friend of airport lounges lol)!
Hi ! My name is Nadine and I am your hands and feet when you are on the ground! I execute your wedding day logistically and deal with all your contracted vendors so that you can relax and enjoy your wedding with your family and friends.
I am British but I live in Jamaica on Negril’s Cliffside and I spend my days cliff diving and noshing on local fare, which I sometimes catch myself (when I am not hard at work on your wedding ofcourse!)
Three random things about me: 1. I have travelled widely in Europe and spent almost a year backpacking through Asia. 2. My parents are Jamaican so I consider myself Jamaican “to de bone” – which means Jamaican at heart/authentic Jamaican and is also the name of my favorite pan chicken vendor stall! 3. I absolutely love to eat seagrapes and have a thing for musicians (I tend to think a man who plays an instrument has a great soul)!
